Speed of Service Competition

Congratulations to Renato and his Stanford Quarter team for winning the Speed of Service competition which ran for the month of Dec through our KFC Drive Thru stores. They served an outstanding total of 82 cars per hour at their Drive Thru. WELL DONE!

Opening of Walker Drive

On the 9th Dec we had the official opening function of our 31st KFC store at Walker Drive Shopping Centre. The guests were comprised of Walker Drive Shopping Centre tenants, Centre Management, Media and KFC Management. A great variety of KFC snacks were served and some scrumptious chocolate and strawberry shakes.

We look forward to serving our new customers in the Walker Drive area.

Opening of HR and Training Department

The HR deparment celebrated there official office opening on the 3rd Dec and their message is:

Port Elizabeth Staff Function

On the 4th Nov 2009, KFC held the PE Staff Function at the Savoy Theatre. The Restaurant Manager were recognised, together with their team, for the hard work and commitment throughout the year. A great evening was had by all including a theatre show and DJ. The main awards were awarded as follows:

World Hunger Week - Jeffreys Bay Style

Wessel Wolmarans, our Restaurant Manager of KFC Jeffreys Bay, used his initiative and arranged an in store raffle in support of 'World Hunger Week'. He raffled off a KFC hamper consisting of KFC promotional goods and a KFC meal voucher. The raffle was highly successful bringing in an amount of R 3,000.00. A total of 280 participants took part in the raffle.

The raffle was won by F.W. van der Merwe from Aston Bay. The Add Hope campaign was also punted, with the R2 button on the tills bringing in a total of R 600.00 extra.
